Latest Snowden Poll Results: 55% Say Whistleblower; 34% Say Traitor

Note from Kenneth E. Lamb: The low info voters, those in Congress on the Military / Industrial/ Orwellian Complex dole and the Complex itself, and the Supreme Court justices who run the FISA secret court (aka The Star Chamber), want to hang Snowden for revealing the illegality and unconstitutional actions each of the players are taking on a daily basis.

As I write this, Obama's order to all fed employees to spy on each other's marriages, finances, and other personal information that is none of the government's business, has hit the headlines, showing again that Obama is setting up Stasi 2.0 in the US.

It's only a matter of time until the tin-foil hat wearing left-wing Looney Tunes start teaching the children they need to spy on their parents - just like they did behind the Iron Curtain for nearly 60 years.

Also, this poll was just released, and while the Orwellian blow-hards seem to get all the airtime and the statist MSM pumps them up even more, it's encouraging to see that the general American public thinks of Snowden as a whistle-blower, and not a traitor.

I recently posted this on another forum:

The true traitors in all this are Obama and Holder personally, and the people who work for the NSA, the CIA, the FBI, the DOJ, and all others who are violating the Fourth Amendment - including The Star Chamber - aka the FISA secret court - and the Supreme Court justices themselves who allow it to operate.

Tell me, what part of "no warrant" shall be issued except upon a sworn statement citing probable cause, the location, the person, and the effects they are searching for?

It doesn't say "except when a bunch of totalitarians get together and use national security as a cover to break laws and the Constitution."

It doesn't say that, does it?

It says "no warrant."

\What part of "no" don't you understand?

Talk about breaking solemn oaths - all those traitors in those organizations swore to uphold and defend the Constitution. But instead they break it without a second thought.

They are the criminal traitors who need to be put on trial, and if found guilty, imprisoned.

Too bad the emotional, low-info posters here are so confused about what the Constitution says.

Even more tragic is that they are too lazy to read it for themselves, and see who the real criminal traitors are in this affair.

Snowden revealed the real traitors. He let us know who is spying on us in violation of the Constitution and the law. He is a patriot.

Unlike the brain-dead, low-info posters on these threads.

Immediately in the aftermath of the Snowden revelations, various political action committees and their ideologically affiliated polling services took to convincing the general public that according to "popular opinion", a "majority" of Americans found Snowden to be a [traitor|hero].

\A month later, with the the dust having settled somewhat, the US public has had some more time to consider the implications of living in the United Stasi States of America.

And sure enough, another poll has just been released, this time by Quinnipiac. Its findings are as follows: a majority of U.S. registered voters consider Edward Snowden a whistle-blower, not a traitor, and a plurality says government anti-terrorism efforts have gone too far in restricting civil liberties, a poll released today shows.

Fifty-five percent said Snowden was a whistle-blower in leaking details about top-secret U.S. programs that collect telephone and Internet data, in the survey from Hamden, Connecticut-based Quinnipiac University. Thirty-four percent said he’s a traitor.
